Grounding, also called earthing, involves making conductive contact with the Earth. Indoor grounding products are designed to create this connection through the grounding system of a properly wired electrical outlet.
First use the included outlet tester to confirm that the outlet is properly grounded. Attach the grounding cord to the mat, then insert the grounding plug into the outlet’s ground port only. Ensure the power point remains switched off.
