Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common queries regarding our grounding mat and its use.
Grounding, also called earthing, involves making conductive contact with the Earth. Indoor grounding products are designed to create this connection through the grounding system of a properly wired electrical outlet.
1. Test your outlet
Use the included Power Outlet Tester to make sure your wall outlet is properly grounded. Look for the “Correct” pattern: two amber lights.
2. Connect the cord to the mat
Snap the round connector onto the press stud at the top-right corner of the GeoSomni mat.
3. Connect to the grounding port
Plug the other end of the grounding cord into the round/U-shaped grounding hole of the tested wall outlet. The grounding hole may be above or below the two flat power slots.
4. Make skin contact
Place the mat on the floor, bed or couch and use it with direct skin contact, such as bare feet, legs or hands.
